Dr. Kimon P. Valavanis is Professor and Chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and Director, DU Unmanned Systems Laboratory. Dr. Valavanis is internationally recognized for his work in the area of UAV’s, robotics and automation. He discussed how the use of drones has grown dramatically over the last decade and the impact they have had on the United States. He also addressed what direction the technology is heading and the possible impact it may have in the future.
