The CEO of Women’s Bean Project, Tamra Ryan, took us on a tour of the Women’s Bean Project. Ms. Ryan explained the organization’s mission of helping unemployed and impoverished women learn job skills and how, through this mission, Women’s Bean Project also helps the community, the economy and runs a thriving business. We also heard from one of the women in the program who shared the skills she has learned through the program and the way that it has enriched her life. This event highlighted a truly amazing organization founded in Colorado that manages to do good in the world while doing well in business.
